πŸ’ŽPro draws

A spinning wheel is fun. A draw that somebody has to trust is a different problem, and it needs proof rather than an animation.

βœ“ Tested & verified Updated: How the randomness works

Free to use, Pro to keep

Every tool on this page works straight away, with no account and no limit on how often you use it. Put your numbers in and you get the answer, the same as on the rest of the site.

What Pro adds is memory and reach. It saves a setup to your account so it is there on your phone as well as the machine you built it on. It turns a result into a page you can send to somebody. It emails you when a date you set is coming, instead of leaving that to your own memory. And it takes the ads off β€” here and on every other site we run, on one subscription.

These tools exist because the ordinary calculators on this site answer a single question, and some questions are not single. A number you need again next month is not a calculation, it is a record.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Pro to use these?

No. Every tool on this page runs in full, free, with no account β€” exactly like the rest of the site. Pro takes the ads off every site we run and raises what you can keep: 200 saved setups and 50 email alerts instead of 3 of each.

What makes these different from the other calculators here?

A quick spin settles who does the washing up. A draw that decides a prize has to be defensible: repeatable, weighted where it should be, and provable to somebody who was not watching.

Where does what I type go?

It is worked out in your browser and stays there. Nothing reaches us unless you press Save or ask for an email, and then it is only what you handed over β€” the address you typed and the setup you saved. You can download or delete all of it from your account page at any time.

How the randomness works

Randomness comes from the browser’s cryptographic generator, not from Math.random. The provably fair draw publishes a SHA-256 commitment of the entry list and the seed before the draw and reveals the seed after it, so anyone can replay the draw and get the same winner β€” that is what makes it checkable rather than merely claimed.

Tell us the draw date. We seal a random seed now and publish its fingerprint straight away, then send you the seed itself on the day β€” so nobody can claim you picked the winner.
